Let’s Get Real was a project inspired by Humans of New York and the Inside Out Project. I photographed over 25 high school kids who came from a range of backgrounds and shared their stories. All of these are taken in a makeshift “studio” aka a maintenance closet. I’ve always been interested in how photography & other creative endeavors can inspire empathy. Although this project was in 2016, it is one of my proudest projects as a photographer and was recognized & published in Herff Jones magazine.
